About The Position

This role is for a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) licensed in Florida to join their expanding telehealth team. The RDN will provide one-on-one medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and counseling to patients across Florida who are managing chronic conditions, digestive health, weight concerns, and general wellness. The role offers clinical autonomy with support from a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) via the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist (CDN) license in Florida State
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish is required
  • At least 1 year of clinical or outpatient nutrition experience
  • Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Athena, SimplePractice, AdvancedMD)
  • Strong communication and tech literacy
  • A secure remote workspace with high-speed internet

Nice To Haves

  • Medicare and/or Medicaid provider enrollment
  • Prior telehealth or digital health experience
  • Specialty certifications (e.g., CDCES, renal nutrition, pediatric nutrition)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive virtual nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Deliver one-on-one counseling and follow-ups via HIPAA-compliant telehealth tools
  • Accurately document all encounters in the EHR system
  • Collaborate with physicians, NPs, nurses, and care coordinators
  • Educate patients and families on dietary strategies and supplement use
  • Stay current on evidence-based practices and telehealth standards
  • Contribute to patient satisfaction and care quality improvement efforts
  • Design and lead community-based nutrition education workshops enhancing awareness of healthy eating practices
