About The Position

Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! Help provide nutrition consultation and education to patients and their families who are screened at or identified with nutrition risk at UW Health. We are seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist - Transplant to collaborate within a highly specialized multidisciplinary transplant team to deliver exceptional patient-centered care and support life-changing transplant outcomes throughout the patient journey. Join a strong, collaborative team of transplant dietitians who work together to share expertise, problem-solve complex cases, and provide comprehensive nutrition care in a supportive environment. Conduct comprehensive transplant nutrition evaluations, including detailed nutrition and physical assessments, and actively participate in transplant selection committees to help guide informed candidacy and care decisions. Become part of a large, highly connected department of dietitians that fosters ongoing professional growth, mentorship, collaboration, and opportunities for career advancement across a variety of specialty practice areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or related field
  • One (1) year of clinical and nutrition related experience
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist as delineated by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Certification/Licensure as required by the State of Wisconsin
  • Illinois Licensed Dietetic Nutritionist credential for interstate practice as required by the State of Illinois for RDNs in the ambulatory setting within 3 months of employment

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Nutrition or related field
  • Two (2) years of clinical and nutrition related experience
  • Certified specialist as required for the position or ability to complete within the first two years of employment
  • Maintain CPR certification
