About The Position
Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Endocrinology Registered Dietitian in Albuquerque, NM. Lovelace Medical Group is a multispecialty provider group which includes clinics, doctors and advanced practice providers in a broad range of specialties and primary care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Registration through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly American Dietetic Association) preferred registration eligibility required
- Licensed by the State of NM

Responsibilities
- Oversees nutritional management within the department and exercises daily responsibility for allocation of resources and coordination of activities.
- Responsible for nutritional care and support of hospital patients, counseling and instructing patients and outpatients on modified diets.
- Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
- Knowledge of Chemistry and Biology
- Knowledge of HMOs, PPOs, Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance plans
