About The Position
The Louisville Center for Eating Disorders (LCED) is looking for a part-time or contract Registered Dietitian to join our treatment team. LCED is the only eating disorder specialty partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) program in Kentucky, and patients are referred to us from across the state. Our dietitian is central to every patient's care and works closely with our therapists, psychiatric provider and program staff.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through CDR
- Kentucky Licensed Dietitian (LD), or eligible for licensure
- Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team in a program setting
- Contractors carry their own professional liability insurance
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience as an RD
- Prior eating disorder experience
Responsibilities
- Lead nutrition groups for PHP and IOP patients
- Complete nutrition assessments at admission and help shape each patient's treatment plan
- Provide individual nutrition therapy for PHP and IOP patients
- Take part in weekly treatment team meetings
- Work with adolescents and adults, and with their families
- Keep accurate, timely documentation and protect patient privacy
