Registered Dietitian – DME Clinical Liaison
About The Position
This role involves delivering and setting up enteral feeding pumps and related DME equipment in hospital and community settings. The Registered Dietitian will provide hands-on education to patients and caregivers on pump use and troubleshooting, and advise on enteral formulas, pump issues, and nutrition-related concerns. The position also supports hospital discharge planning, collaborates with homecare nursing teams, and represents the company in various settings. Additionally, the role requires maintaining knowledge of incontinence, ostomy, and wound care DME, identifying additional patient needs, and coordinating with intake for orders and documentation. Building and maintaining relationships with DME and enteral vendors is also a key aspect of this role.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN), active license
- Experience with enteral nutrition and pump education
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to travel locally

- Experience in DME, homecare, or discharge planning
- Familiarity with common enteral pump platforms
Responsibilities
- Deliver and set up enteral feeding pumps and related DME equipment in hospital and community settings
- Provide hands-on education to patients and caregivers on pump use and troubleshooting
- Advise on enteral formulas, pump issues, and nutrition-related concerns
- Document equipment delivery and patient education
- Support hospital discharge planning with pump teaches
- Collaborate with MGA Homecare nursing teams
- Support patients within MGA Homecare’s existing census
- Represent Ward Road Pharmacy in hospital and non-hospital settings
- Maintain working knowledge of incontinence, ostomy, wound care, and disposable DME
- Identify additional patient needs and coordinate warm handoffs to intake
- Coordinate orders, documentation, and delivery timelines
- Assist with issue resolution impacting onboarding or continuity of care
- Maintain relationships with DME and enteral vendors
- Serve as clinical liaison for pump and formula manufacturers
