About The Position

Thrive Nutrition by MealSuite is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide clinical nutrition care to residents in long-term care and short-term rehabilitation communities. The work combines in-person community visits with some remote work, supported by technology intended to reduce administrative tasks. The role offers autonomy and flexible scheduling, with visits scheduled within each community’s access hours and the agreed scope of work. The consultant completes nutrition assessments, recommends interventions, updates care plans, monitors residents’ nutritional status, and provides nutrition education and counseling. The role also involves collaboration with healthcare teams, participation in resident care planning meetings, quality assurance audits, and follow-up on corrective actions. After each visit, the consultant submits a visit summary and invoice. This is a 1099 independent contractor engagement, not employment with MealSuite. Contractors choose which visits to accept and how to schedule and perform their work within agreed parameters and professional standards. They may serve other clients. Compensation is per visit or project at an agreed rate. Contractors provide and pay for their own equipment, vehicles, phone, and business expenses, and are responsible for their own taxes. They are not eligible for employee benefits.
