Requirements

• Bachelors Degree
• Completion of an ACEND accredited/approved Supervised Practice Program in Dietetics
• Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Current NYS Certification as a Dietitian/ Nutritionist (CDN)
• 1 year of clinical nutrition experience
• Must live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in outpatient nutrition settings
• Certified Diabetes Educator Specialist (CDES)
• Master's degree
• Bilingual (English-Spanish)

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized comprehensive outpatient medical nutrition therapy for diverse adult and senior patient populations in a primary care setting.

• Use medical nutrition therapy to treat patients.
