This includes providing appropriate menu planning, food service oversight, medication-nutrition management, individualized care plans, nutrition assessments, and special diets as needed. The Dietician should monitor current youth’s dietary needs and active medications to ensure the meals and snacks provided meet their unique needs. The Dietician is responsible for tailoring food service delivery in a manner that is trauma informed and is aligned with the CARES Center Clinical Model. He/she must display knowledge of Policies and Procedures relating to dietary and have working knowledge of Dietary, Safety and Infection Control plans and documentation. Must ensure the environment and interactions with youth are aligned with the CARES Center Clinical Model.
