Registered Dietician
About The Position
The Registered Dietician will be responsible for coordinating the nutritional care of residents and patients by completing nutritional assessments, participating in care planning meetings, providing nutritional counseling and education for residents and family, meeting DOH/state/federal and company standards, and performing duties independently without training or direction. The role requires a Registered Dietician licensure within the state of operations, a high comfort level with enteral nutrition, at least one year of experience in a long-term care setting, experience with MDS 3.0, and strong oral and written communication skills. Experience with electronic charting and the Nutrition Care Process, as well as familiarity with the state survey process and compliance to nutrition care regulations, is preferred. The position is located at CareOne at Hackensack University Medical Center in Westwood, NJ, with a salary range of $28-$43.
Requirements
- Registered Dietician licensure within the state of operations
- High comfort level with enteral nutrition
- At least one year of experience in a long-term care setting
- Experience with MDS 3.0
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with state survey process and compliance to nutrition care regulations
