The Ambulatory and Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN)/Registered Dietician (RD), provides high-quality, patient-centered care through evidence-based practice, clinical expertise, and compassionate care delivery in an ambulatory care setting. The RN/RD coordinates and facilitates education of the diabetes patient outpatient population, by acting as a liaison between patients, families, and medical staff. We’re Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition (RD) OR Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the state in which teammate practices. 2-3 years nutrition experience with exposure to diabetes patients OR 3-5 years in clinical specialty. CDCES certification Experience with insulin pump therapy Knowledge & understanding of, child growth & development, normal patterns of adolescent behavior, and signs of normal aging
