About The Position

Vi at Grayhawk is seeking a highly accomplished Registered Dietitian to assist in managing the Care Center Food and Beverage Operations, ensuring a quality dining experience. This role involves working closely with community F&B staff to maintain sanitation and HACCP standards in compliance with all regulations. The position requires completing nutritional reviews for residents, monitoring weights, assessing nutritional needs, and developing dietary care plans. Collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals is essential to determine diet restrictions and nutritional needs.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of clinical nutrition experience.
State certification in food service sanitation.
Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Bachelor's Degree in nutrition from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing the community's Care Center Food and Beverage Operations to ensure a quality dining experience.
Work closely with community F&B staff to ensure sanitation and HACCP standards in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
Complete nutritional initial, quarterly, annual and significant change reviews on residents according to federal and state guidelines.
Review monthly and weekly weights to determine residents which have had a significant change.
Complete nutritional reviews monthly on high risk residents (significant weight loss/ gain, pressure ulcer, hemodialysis, and tube fed).
Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans in order to develop and implement dietary care plans.
Provide nutritional counseling as needed.
Consult with physicians and other health care personnel (Nurse Practitioners, Dialysis Dietitians, etc.) to determine diet restrictions and nutritional needs of residents.
