About The Position

123Dentist is a large and growing dental support organization in Canada, supporting over 450 clinics and 8,000 team members with the mission to make Canadians smile. They provide HR, marketing, finance, operations, and procurement support to local dental clinics. The Leigh Smile Center in Westlock, AB is seeking a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist. The ideal candidate will be motivated to educate patients on preventative dental care and oral hygiene, and empower them with treatment plans and home care routines. Leigh Smile Center has been serving the community for over 30 years, featuring 7 operatories, 5 dentists, and 2 hygienists. The center offers comprehensive dental treatments including Sedation, Implants, Wisdom Teeth Extractions, Grafting, Invisalign, Botox Treatment, and General Dentistry.

Requirements

Currently registered or in process of registering with the College of Registered Dental Hygienists of Alberta (CRDHA).
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
Customer service mindset.

Nice To Haves

New graduates welcome!
2 years of experience is preferred.
Experience with dental practice management software such as Tracker and Maxident is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Educate patients on preventative dental care and oral hygiene.
Empower patients in their commitment to good oral health by developing treatment plans and home care routines tailored towards the patients’ needs.
