About The Position
Rolling Hills Family Dentistry is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join their team on Fridays. This is a part-time position in a friendly, patient-focused dental practice that emphasizes exceptional patient care in a comfortable and supportive environment. The practice features a modern, 4-operatory office and is dedicated to quality patient care without rushed appointments, serving a PPO and fee-for-service patient base. The role involves working alongside experienced general dentists, Dr. Rani Shina and Dr. Dana Baba, in a collaborative, family-oriented team setting.
Requirements
- Active Dental Hygiene license in California
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Friendly, professional, and compassionate chairside manner
- Strong understanding of dental hygiene principles and periodontal care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with both adult and pediatric patients is preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis and preventive treatments
- Take and process digital radiographs (X-rays)
- Perform periodontal assessments and record clinical findings
- Educate patients on oral health, home care, and preventive treatment recommendations
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Support a positive, comfortable, and welcoming experience for every patient
- Collaborate with doctors and team members to ensure exceptional patient care
