About The Position
The team at University Avenue Dental in Waterloo, Ontario is looking for a passionate and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join us on a part-time, permanent basis. University Avenue Dental is a growing practice, and we are looking for an RDH who would like to start part-time with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position as the clinic continues to grow. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will play an important role in helping our patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health. We are looking for someone who enjoys educating patients about preventive dental care and oral hygiene and who takes pride in developing individualized treatment plans and home-care routines based on each patient's needs.
Requirements
- Currently registered or in the process of registering with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- A customer-service-focused approach
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dental team
Nice To Haves
- New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply
- Experience with Tracker or other dental practice management software is considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Educating patients about preventive dental care and oral hygiene
