Spartanburg Dental Associates is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team full-time. Requirements

Current South Carolina Dental Hygiene License in good standing.
CPR/BLS Certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and education.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and preventive treatments.
Conduct patient assessments, review medical histories, and document findings accurately.
Take and evaluate digital radiographs according to state regulations and office protocols.
Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (if licensed and certified).
Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, nutrition, and preventive care.
Assist in diagnosing and monitoring periodontal disease.
Collaborate with dentists and team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment documentation.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and sterilization standards.
Build positive relationships with patients to promote trust, comfort, and long-term care.
Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
