About The Position
Okanagan Periodontics in Kelowna, BC is seeking a passionate and hard-working Registered Dental Hygienist for a permanent full-time/temporary part-time position. The role involves educating patients on preventative dental care and oral hygiene, developing personalized treatment plans, and home care routines. The ideal candidate will be motivated to empower patients towards good oral health. Okanagan Periodontics is a specialty practice focused on the prevention and management of periodontal diseases, with expertise in cosmetics, reconstruction, and dental implant surgery, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies since 1994.
Requirements
- Currently registered or in process of registering with the BC College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP)
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
- Customer service mindset
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Periodontics
- Experience providing periodontal maintenance in a periodontal clinic setting
- Experience with dental practice management software such as Tracker
Responsibilities
