About The Position
Wilmington Kids Dental is offering a full-time opportunity as a Registered Dental Hygienist at our Wilmington office. We are an upbeat team looking for an individual who has a passion for helping others and wants to make a positive difference in their community. Kids Dental Brands has been dedicated to providing high-quality dental care to children of all backgrounds in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment. Requirements
- Associate's degree from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Active Dental Hygiene license
- No previous experience needed
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatment by welcoming, seating, draping, and soothing patient
- Record observations about the child's dental health, including notes on any infections or other problems that may require attention
- Examine gums to assess levels of periodontal disease
- Maintain instrumentation by sterilizing and sharpening instruments
- Applying fluorides and other dental decay prevention agents
- Provide quality patient care and education regarding tooth and gum care
