Registered Dental Hygienist - Okanagan Periodontics
About The Position
Okanagan Periodontics, a specialty dental practice focused on the prevention and management of periodontal diseases and conditions, is seeking a passionate and hard-working Registered Dental Hygienist. The ideal candidate will be motivated to educate patients on preventative dental care and oral hygiene, and empower them in their commitment to good oral health by developing tailored treatment plans and home care routines. While experience in periodontal maintenance is an asset, training will be provided for the right candidate. The practice, led by Dr. Steven Faigan, has been providing advanced periodontal and implant therapy since 1994.
Requirements
- Currently registered or in process of registering with the BC College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP).
- Minimum 2 years of experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Customer service mindset.
Nice To Haves
- Experience providing periodontal maintenance in a periodontal clinic setting.
- Experience with dental practice management software such as Tracker.
Responsibilities
