About The Position

Henderson Smiles is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to help provide dental care and a welcoming experience for patients. The role includes preparing patients for exams, taking digital X-rays, assisting dentists during treatment, maintaining a sterile and organized environment, educating patients about treatment and aftercare, performing teeth polishing and sealant placement, and supporting appointment and patient-care management. The schedule is Monday through Friday, full-time. Training is available for the listed certifications for the right candidate.

Requirements

Valid Texas-issued Registered Dental Assistant License.
Proficiency in digital X-rays and charting.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

Sealant Placement certification; training is available for the right candidate.
Nitrous Monitoring certification; training is available for the right candidate.
Coronal Polishing certification; training is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Welcome and prepare patients for dental examinations and help them feel at ease.
Take digital X-rays.
Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures.
Maintain a sterile, organized examination and treatment environment.
Educate patients about treatment options and aftercare.
Perform teeth polishing and sealant placement procedures.
