About The Position

Dallas Endodontics is seeking a skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join its busy specialty practice. The RDA supports the clinical team and provides exceptional care, helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and well cared for throughout their visits. The role includes both clinical and administrative duties. The position is described as full-time with flexible hours, working 30–35 hours per week, and includes at least one day off during the week.

Requirements

• Active Registered Dental Assistant license in the state of Texas.
• Current radiology certification.
• CPR and BLS certification.
• At least 1–2 years of dental assisting experience.
• Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program if required by state law.
• Proficiency in sterilization protocols and infection control procedures.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude.
• Knowledge of dental software and basic administrative tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively with doctors and staff in a fast-paced environment.

• Specialty dental assisting experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment.
• Assist the dentist with procedures using four-handed dentistry.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized operatory.
• Take and develop dental radiographs in compliance with state regulations.
• Provide post-operative care instructions and oral hygiene education.
• Schedule appointments and follow-up visits.
• Manage patient records accurately and securely.
• Assist with insurance and payment processing.
• Support front desk and administrative functions as needed.
