A well-established and growing dental practice in Merced, CA is seeking a motivated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join a collaborative and patient-focused clinical team. This modern practice offers a full scope of general dentistry and utilizes advanced technology to provide high-quality patient care. The Registered Dental Assistant will play a key role in assisting the doctors chairside, preparing operatories, maintaining efficient clinical flow, and supporting a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and confident assisting in a variety of procedures including restorative, implant dentistry, and cosmetic treatments. Requirements

  • Current California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License
  • Coronal Polishing Certification
  • Dental Sealant License
  • Dental X-Ray Certification
  • Current CPR / BLS Certification
  • Knowledge of infection control and OSHA standards
  • Strong clinical and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience assisting in general dentistry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist the doctor chairside during a wide range of dental procedures
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
  • Take digital radiographs and assist with diagnostic imaging
  • Perform coronal polishing and dental sealants when appropriate
  • Prepare patients for treatment and ensure comfort throughout procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient charting and clinical notes
  • Follow OSHA and infection control protocols
  • Assist with impressions, temporaries, and restorative procedures
  • Support efficient clinical flow and patient scheduling
