About The Position
The Bonnyville Dental Clinic in Bonnyville, Alberta is seeking a passionate and hard-working Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for a full-time position. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to supporting the dentist by providing outstanding treatment assistance, preparing the treatment room, and ensuring dental equipment and instruments are ready for patient care. This role also involves educating patients on preventative dental care and oral hygiene, and developing personalized treatment plans and home care routines to promote good oral health. The clinic has recently undergone expansion and renovation, featuring upgraded offices, chairs, and new equipment, situated in a beautiful location in NE Alberta with a growing team.
Requirements
- Completion of a Registered Dental Assisting Level II
- Registered or in process of registering with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
- Customer service mindset
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year(s) experience
- Experience with dental practice management software such as Tracker is considered an asset
- Licensed in other Canadian province(s)
Responsibilities
- Equip the Dentist through providing outstanding treatment assistance
- Prepare the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival
- Educate patients on preventative dental care and oral hygiene
- Empower patients in their commitment to good oral health by developing treatment plans and home care routines tailored towards the patients’ needs
