Our office, Metroplex Endodontics & Microsurgery - Mansfield, is seeking a skilled and licensed Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our busy specialty practice. Requirements
- Licensed RDA with a passion for patient care and a strong understanding of both the clinical and interpersonal aspects of dental assisting.
- Calm under pressure, organized, and always eager to help both patients and your team.
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant
- Must have experience in an Endodontist office
- Active Registered Dental Assistant license required
- Current radiology certification required
- CPR and BLS certification required
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program (if required by state law)
- Proficiency in sterilization protocols and infection control procedures
- Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude
- Knowledge of dental software and basic administrative tasks
- Ability to work collaboratively with doctors and staff in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Greeting and preparing patients for treatment
- Assisting the dentist with procedures using four-handed dentistry
- Sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean, organized operatory
- Taking and developing dental radiographs in compliance with state regulations
- Providing post-operative care instructions and oral hygiene education
- Scheduling appointments and follow-up visits
- Managing patient records accurately and securely
- Assisting with insurance and payment processing
- Supporting front desk and administrative functions as needed
- Must be able to travel between our Mansfield and Duncanville offices as needed
