About The Position
West Coast Dental, a group of over 45 dental offices serving Southern California for over 30 years, is seeking Registered Dental Assistants (RDAs) for career opportunities. They offer general, specialty, and orthodontic services with a commitment to quality and patient experience. The organization provides growth through training, professional development, and company-sponsored continuing education. They have a large, diverse patient base and utilize a digital, state-of-the-art practice management system. Experienced and new candidates are welcome, with comprehensive training and support provided for all levels.
Requirements
- Registered Dental Assistant certificate in California.
- Current x-ray license in California.
- Current coronal polish and sealant certification.
- Adherence to strict OSHA compliance.
- Knowledge of sterilization procedures.
- Willing to work full-time.
Nice To Haves
- Specialty dental assisting experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Great interaction with patients to promote trust and the optimal patient experience.
- Collaborating with an entire office team, from the dentists to receptionists, to promote trust, connection and relationship with patients and one-another.
- Learning how PPO, HMO, and other dental plans work to optimize patient benefits.
- Proactively addressing patient concerns and providing insight and comfort to patients with regard to their dental treatment.
