About The Position
A Full-Time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) is needed for a busy, fun, and friendly dental office. This role allows for full utilization of RDA and Dental Assistant skills, working with Pediatric Dentists, Orthodontists, and Anesthesiologists. CHOICE Healthcare Services aims to provide everyone access to necessary healthcare and is the largest provider of pediatric dental care in the Southwest United States, focusing on high-quality care for children in their communities.
Requirements
- California Registered Dental Assistant License
- X-Ray Certification
- Coronal Polish Certification
- Current BLS certification
Nice To Haves
- Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Sealant Certification
Responsibilities
- Assists the doctor in procedures
- Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays
- Prophy teeth
- Instructs patients on oral hygiene
- Chart and treatment plan with doctor
- Sterilizes instruments
- Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment
- Take IO's
- Charting
- Sealants, if applicable
