Registered Dental Assistant
About The Position
Metroplex Endodontics & Microsurgery - Mansfield is seeking a skilled, licensed Registered Dental Assistant to join its specialty practice. The RDA supports the clinical team in providing a high-quality patient experience, helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and well cared for. The role includes both clinical and administrative support and requires travel between the Mansfield and Duncanville offices as needed. Requirements
- At least 3–5 years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant.
- Experience in an endodontist office.
- Active Registered Dental Assistant license.
- Current radiology certification.
- CPR and BLS certification.
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program, if required by state law.
- Proficiency in sterilization protocols and infection control procedures.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude.
- Knowledge of dental software and basic administrative tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively with doctors and staff in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and prepare patients for treatment.
- Assist the dentist with procedures using four-handed dentistry.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized operatory.
- Take and develop dental radiographs in compliance with state regulations.
- Provide post-operative care instructions and oral hygiene education.
- Schedule appointments and follow-up visits.
- Manage patient records accurately and securely.
- Assist with insurance and payment processing.
- Support front desk and administrative functions as needed.
- Travel between the Mansfield and Duncanville offices as needed.
