About The Position
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with a $1000.00 sign-on bonus for a busy, fun, and friendly dental office. This role allows you to fully utilize your RDA and Dental Assistant skills while working with Pediatric Dentists, Orthodontists, and Anesthesiologists. The Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; and performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act. Requirements
- Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
- California Registered Dental Assistant License
- X-Ray Certification
- Coronal Polish Certification
- Current BLS certification
Nice To Haves
- Sealant Certification, preferred
Responsibilities
- Assists the doctor in procedures
- Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays
- Prophy teeth
- Instructs patients on oral hygiene
- Chart and treatment plan with doctor
- Sterilizes instruments
- Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment
- Take IO's
- Charting
- Sealants, if applicable
