About The Position

The team at Maxx Dental located in Fort McMurray, AB is looking for a passionate, hard-working Certified/Registered Dental Assistant on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate works well in a group setting and is a team player. We recently opened a brand new facility in January and we are looking for a dedicated team member to join our team of dental professionals. 123Dentist is Canada’s largest majority dentist-owned network of dental practices, with almost 500 locations nationwide and nearly 8,000 employees. Requirements

• Completion of a Certified/Registered Dental Assisting Level II
• Registered or in process of registering with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
• Customer service mindset

Nice To Haves

• New graduates welcome
• Open to those licensed in other Canadian province(s)
• Experience with dental practice management software such as Dentrix is considered an asset but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Equip the Dentist through providing outstanding treatment assistance
• Prepare the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival
