About The Position

The Registered CT Technologist provides computed tomographic radiographs to patients in accordance with physicians’ orders. The role involves preparing patients for CT examinations, explaining procedures, and ensuring technical quality. The technologist supports the Imaging Department as a team player, maintains sufficient medical terminology knowledge to work accurately, and pursues professional growth through required mandatory and continuing education.

Requirements

Associate degree, diploma, or BSRT degree in Radiologic Technology.
Current licensure by the Texas Department of Health as an MRT/TMB license.
Current ARRT (R)(CT) registration.
Previous CT experience in a clinic or hospital setting.
Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for CT examinations, explain procedures, and ensure technical quality.
Meet mandatory and continuing education requirements to support professional growth and development.
Use medical terminology knowledge to work accurately within the Imaging Department.
Work as a team player and meet the needs of the Imaging Department.
