Plans, coordinates, supervises, and carries out the activities of the CT area. Work is carried out in an independent, professional manner with minimal supervision. This role involves performing CT procedures, maintaining CT equipment, and participating in QA/QC and CQI programs. The technologist is responsible for their own continuing education to maintain registry and for the maintenance of proper patient records. The position requires demonstrating competency in patient care according to the age and needs of the patient population served, including understanding the range of treatment needed by patients of various ages and diagnoses. The employee must perform within Tanner Health System's Ethics and Compliance program, detecting and reporting compliance variances.
