About The Position

Come and work for a dynamic team at the Vista Hill Center for Child and Youth Psychiatry. Work closely with a team of psychiatrists, clinicians, nursing staff, case managers, and administrative staff in providing exceptional care to children and youth in San Diego County. Work holistically in providing trauma informed care that is evidence based, solution focused, and client centered. Vista Hill Foundation is an agency with over 65 years of experience providing services to the community, and is excited to facilitate the growth of CCYP. Through the utilization of diverse service modalities, such as telepsychiatry/telehealth and face-to-face practices CCYP plans to reduce barriers to mental health services for those who are most vulnerable and in need of care. Work collaboratively in providing timely communication with providers across the systems of care to ensure children and youth receive quick access to mental health treatment for ongoing stability, and to prevent further deterioration. Requirements

  • Master's Degree
  • ACSW/AMFT/APHA/APCC, registration or License in good standing with the CA Board of Behavioral Science.
  • Experience working in a mental health program or clinic, treatment facility or other behavioral health setting.
  • 2-4 years professional experience in working with target population.
  • Experience and knowledge in assessment and treatment theories for target population.
  • Valid CA drivers license and reliable transportation required.
  • Bilingual required.
  • Must pass background check, drug test, and TB test.
  • Must offer certain linguistic, gender, cultural and ethnic specific skills: must be able to work with culturally diverse population.

Responsibilities

  • Provide counseling/mental health services
  • Practice as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Provide clinical assessments, intervention and support to clients.
  • Complete proper clinical documentation in a timely manner.
