About The Position

PAM Health is seeking a Registered Clinical Dietitian to join our team and provide comprehensive nutrition care to patients in a hospital setting. In this role, you’ll work closely with patients, families, physicians, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to develop individualized nutrition plans that support healing, recovery, and overall wellness. Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • Current dietitian license or state-specific credential required to practice in the state where the facility is located.
  • Strong communication, organization, and clinical assessment skills.
  • A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years of clinical dietitian experience preferred.
  • Acute care, inpatient, hospital, or rehabilitation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients’ nutritional needs and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
  • Plan and provide regular and modified diets based on physician orders and patient-specific needs.
  • Conduct routine patient visits and provide nutrition counseling and education.
  • Monitor patients’ nutritional status and make recommendations to support optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing, therapy, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Participate in hospital, patient, community, and outpatient nutrition education programs.
  • Contribute to the department’s Quality Assessment and Quality Improvement (QA/QI) initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
  • Help promote a positive patient experience through compassionate, evidence-based nutrition care.
