About The Position

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Katy is opening a new hospital soon and is looking for a Registered Clinical Dietitian. This role involves planning diets for patients of all ages, visiting patients, counseling them on nutritional needs, and participating in hospital, patient, and community education programs. The position also assists with the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan. Requirements

Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Licensed by the State in which the facility resides to practice Dietetics.
3 years' experience in a clinical setting preferred.
Rehabilitation experiences a plus.

Responsibilities

Planning regular and modified diets for all ages of patients as prescribed by Medical Staff.
Routinely visiting patients.
Counseling patients with nutritional needs.
Participating in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs.
Assisting with the maintenance of the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan.
