About The Position

AB Staffing Solutions is hiring Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBTs) for school-based assignments in South Carolina for the 2026–2027 school year. These positions support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral development by implementing behavior support strategies and assisting students under the supervision of certified staff.

These are school-year contract positions. Weekly hours vary by location, assignments vary, and schedules follow the school calendar. The work is performed on-site in a school setting, with dedicated recruiter support. The role involves supporting students with behavioral or emotional needs and may include assisting during behavioral or emotional escalation.

Requirements

• Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) or equivalent credential.
• Ability to meet South Carolina State paraeducator or behavioral support qualification requirements, as applicable.
• Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow written plans.
• Willingness to complete required training, clearances, and ongoing professional development.
• The active school-based role requires standing, walking, and student support; it may include assisting students during behavioral or emotional escalation.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children or in a school or behavioral setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support students with behavioral and social-emotional needs.
• Implement behavior intervention strategies as directed by certified staff.
• Assist with data collection and documentation of student progress.
• Support students during classroom activities, transitions, and routines.
• Encourage positive behavior and skill development.
• Collaborate with teachers and support teams.
