The Behavioral Registered Technician is responsible for ensuring clients’ treatment programs are consistently implemented. This role involves establishing and maintaining therapeutic relationships, following treatment plan goals, and collaborating with families and treatment teams. The technician will educate parents/guardians, prompt safe and socially acceptable behaviors, and fade prompts to promote independent responding. They will also increase the frequency of appropriate behaviors by providing reinforcers and objectively review participant progress using behavior analytic methods. Data collection, documentation, and communication with staff are key aspects of this role, as is participating in training and clinical meetings.
