About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician for one client in Honolulu, Hawaii. This position is part-time, with a specific schedule of Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, approximately 6 hours per week. The exact session times are 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This posting is for a single client case, meaning the hours and days are fixed. A BCBA is already assigned to this client and covers the region, providing a treatment plan and a handoff before the first session. Step Ahead ABA prioritizes internal RBTs for new cases before seeking external candidates. They ensure dedicated care managers and schedules tailored to the client's needs, family availability, and the RBT's availability, rather than corporate hour targets.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Tue/Thu afternoons, about 6 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan written by the BCBA.
• Collect session data and submit notes for the work performed.
• Participate in QA and IOA checks in session, observation, and feedback.
• Attend training and required meetings.
