This position involves working with children to help them learn new skills and improve their behavior while using ABA techniques to teach skills such as communication, socialization, and self-care.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • At least 2 years’ experience working with individuals with challenging behaviors
  • 1-year verifiable experience as RBT within field of ABA therapy
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with crisis management (i.e. Safety Care, PCM, PCI, etc.)
  • Experience in developing and implementing behavioral programs with developmentally disabled individuals is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Consistently perform duties of Registered Behavior Technician I with increased independence, initiative and/or demonstrated ability
  • Document each client’s performance on a daily basis via data collection method specified by assigned BCBA
  • Implement all aspect of client’s treatment plan as developed by the BCBA
  • Assist in ensuring cleanliness and orderliness of work environments
  • Assist client with toileting, dressing, grooming, and/or feeding as needed
  • Communicate session outcome with parents/caregivers while maintaining professional boundaries and within the scope of one’s certification
  • Assist BCBA in developing training materials that are up-to-date with current technologies on a daily basis
  • Graph all data as assigned
  • Attend all weekly clinical meetings as an active participant in programmatic discussion
  • Ensure compliance with any and all regulations pertaining to BACB guidelines
  • Perform job duties in across all Quest Kids settings (i.e., all centers, academy and community) as needed including being reassigned day of as need arises
