About The Position
Empower Behavior Solutions is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and reliable Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work part-time with a 9-year-old client for approximately 20 hours per week. This role offers the opportunity to be an integral part of a child's growth, learning, and success, working directly with them during breakthrough moments. The position is part of an expanding program and emphasizes making a tangible difference in the lives of children and the autism community.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Current RBT certification
- Experience with ABA data collection and session documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively, accurately, and efficiently under multiple demands and frequent interruptions
- Patience, creativity, and genuine passion for supporting the autism community
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of two years’ experience working with children
Responsibilities
- Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy programs under BCBA supervision across home, school, and center based settings
- Collect accurate session data and enter supporting documentation into Rethink within 24 hours of each session
- Ensure that each client’s individual Behavior Plan is implemented as written by BCBA
- Maintain professional communication with families and report observations to supervising BCBA
