About The Position

Centria Health is seeking compassionate caregivers with at least a high school diploma (or GED) to work as Behavioral Health Technicians in Coppell, TX. This role involves working one-on-one with children and families affected by autism to implement learning programs, collect data on target behaviors, communicate with stakeholders, maintain client confidentiality, and regularly meet with their direct leader. The position focuses on building trust and care within the child's home setting, with assignments typically within 15 minutes of the employee's residence. The role offers a flexible work schedule with 15-20 hours per week and is unique in its family-home environment.

Requirements

  • A passion about helping children with autism and making a real difference in their lives.
  • Patience and compassion with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • A high school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the past year)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
  • A minimum of one year experience working with children ages 0-18 in a daycare, classroom setting preferred.
  • A minimum of one year experience working one-on-one with clients in a behavioral health environment preferred.
