About The Position

Thrive Autism Services is a specialty agency for children with autism spectrum disorder, offering both in-clinic and in-home services. They cater to clients with behavior, cognitive, and developmental needs, ranging from 18 months to adulthood. The agency provides ABA therapy focused on the client's voice and experience, with a mission to foster a healthy and safe environment for individuals with Autism to learn, grow, and thrive. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will provide services to children with a variety of cognitive, behavioral, and developmental disorders/diagnoses. You will collaborate directly with board-certified behavior analysts (BCBAs) to implement behavioral intervention and skill acquisition programming, collect data, manage problem behaviors, and receive training in direct service delivery. Your role will involve teaching social, adaptive, functional communication, emotional and behavioral regulation, and independent self-care skills. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children on the autism spectrum.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • RBT certification (preferred).
  • 6-12 months working in ABA therapy.
  • Must possess or obtain a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety IVP fingerprint clearance card.
  • Professional when offering care inside of our client’s homes.
  • Flexible and willing to adapt.
  • Responsible and timely.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
  • Experience in early intervention, a preschool setting, or other areas of behavioral health.
  • Passionate about the Behavior Science field and making meaningful impacts on their clients' lives.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and implement behavioral intervention and skill acquisition programming.
  • Collect data.
  • Manage problem behaviors.
  • Receive training in all areas of direct service delivery.
  • Primarily serve an instructional role teaching in the areas of social, adaptive, functional communication, emotional and behavioral regulation, and independent self-care skills.
