About The Position
Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Registered Behavior Technician for a K–12 school setting in Aurora, CO. In this role, you’ll support students with behavioral and developmental needs by implementing individualized behavior plans, collecting data, and collaborating with school teams. This is a great opportunity for both new and experienced RBTs who are passionate about making a meaningful impact in students’ lives.
Requirements
- Active RBT certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
- High school diploma required
- Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred
- School-based or ABA experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA
- Provide 1:1 or small group behavioral support to students
- Collect and track data on student progress and behaviors
- Support students with social, emotional, and communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
- Assist with classroom management and behavior strategies
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
