PRN Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
About The Position
River Rock Behavioral Therapy, a Finni Health company, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRN Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join their team on an as-needed basis. This role provides ABA therapy coverage, filling in for scheduled sessions, supporting new clients as they onboard, and helping the clinical team maintain consistency for the families served. As a PRN RBT, you will provide individualized ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The difference from full-time RBTs is flexibility, with no guaranteed weekly schedule. You will be called on to cover sessions as needs arise, and you can accept or decline shifts based on your availability. This role is ideal for RBTs seeking supplemental income, a flexible schedule, or a lower-commitment way to stay active in the field. PRN team members are asked to maintain reliable, regular availability rather than sporadic pickup, as shifts are offered based on caseload need and demonstrated availability.
Requirements
- Current RBT Certification (required)
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices (required)
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations as needed
- Ability to maintain reliable, regular availability for scheduled shifts
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred)
- Experience with data collection and familiarity with ABA terminology (preferred)
- Experience with behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques (preferred)
- Availability to accept shifts on short notice (preferred, not required)
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision
- Collect and record accurate session data
- Support skill development and behavior-reduction goals
- Maintain professionalism and positive rapport with clients and families
- Communicate availability proactively and respond promptly to shift requests
- Participate in required training and supervision related to ABA
