Entry-Level Registered Behavior Technician (Part-Time)
About The Position
AAPSA is seeking Part-Time Registered Behavior Technicians for our Utica office. This is an entry-level position with immediate openings. Upon hire, you will receive extensive training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and obtain your certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). All RBTs are provided with ongoing supervision to ensure they are mastering ABA skills and providing high-quality care to our patients. We offer a $5,000 retention bonus payable upon one year of employment. This is an excellent early-career opportunity for individuals interested in psychology, education, OT, PT, speech/language therapy, or human services. No prior experience is required; we are looking for bright, motivated individuals eager to help children with autism overcome challenges and achieve their goals. You will gain unique training and experience beneficial for any future educational or occupational pursuits. The pay rate is $20-$24 per hour. As an RBT, you will assist children in improving their social, communication, and behavioral abilities across various settings, including clinic, community, school, and home. All positions start part-time with the potential to transition into full-time, salaried roles for exceptional candidates. Applicants must have reliable transportation.
Requirements
- Must have Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification (training will be provided if not already certified).
- Reliable means of transportation.
- Must be available for 10-15 hours per week or 20-25 hours per week.
- Must be available to work Monday through Friday.
- No late evenings.
