About The Position

Butterfly Effects is seeking passionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to teach young children affected by autism. This is a permanent part-time opportunity (10-20 hours on average) with the potential to make a significant impact on a child's life. Our home-based treatment involves working directly with the child and family in their natural environment to teach essential skills such as communication, sharing, and play. RBTs at Butterfly Effects make sessions fun through play-based activities and receive comprehensive training to ensure confidence in their skills. The role may require lifting or moving approximately 50 lbs. and maintaining various postures for extended periods.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School diploma.
  • Active RBT Certification.
  • A love and passion for working with children.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Personal vehicle.
  • Auto Insurance with your name listed as an insured driver.
  • Web-enabled device (laptop or tablet).
  • Minimum 3 weekdays with consistent availability for at least 6 months.
  • Positive attitude and strong people skills to work with children and families.

Nice To Haves

  • Medicaid experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Teach children affected by autism essential life skills.
  • Work directly with children and families in their natural environment (home-based treatment).
  • Utilize play-based activities to make learning fun.
  • Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
  • Travel between client sessions.
