About The Position

Golden Steps ABA is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to help children build meaningful skills with a clinical team that supports your growth. As an RBT, you will work directly with children and families to turn individualized treatment plans into everyday progress. You will receive guidance from a BCBA, collaborate with your team, and have opportunities to continue developing your skills.

Requirements

Current RBT certification or willingness to complete RBT training and certification.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Clear communication, reliability, and a commitment to learning.
Ability to meet applicable background check requirements.
Driver’s license and reliable transportation, if travel to client homes is required.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with children or individuals with autism or disabilities is helpful, but not required.
Experience in childcare, education, special education, or a related field can be a strong foundation for this role.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one ABA services to children and young adults with autism, following treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
Teach communication, social, and daily living skills through individualized sessions.
Use the treatment strategies and behavior support plans developed for each client.
Record session data and complete documentation accurately and on time.
Share observations and questions with your supervising BCBA.
Participate in supervision, training, and team meetings.
Build respectful, professional relationships with clients and families.
