The Pediatric Registered Behavior Technician – EIBI, under the direction and supervision of the treatment team, provides direct therapeutic contact to patients through the implementation of behavior implementation plans and skill building curriculum designed to support individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities, conducting direct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients to teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors, and providing support in various settings, such as homes, schools, or community locations, to address diverse behavioral challenges. The position also requires documenting and maintaining accurate records of client sessions, behavior plans, and progress notes, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and participating in regular supervision and training sessions.
