About The Position

April ABA is seeking compassionate, motivated, and professional Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who are committed to ethical practice, clinical excellence, and meaningful outcomes for the clients and families we serve. We are a clinician-operated, clinician-owned, female- and veteran-led organization dedicated to empowering behavior analytic professionals to focus on what matters most-delivering high-quality care to individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities. Requirements

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to receive and implement feedback professionally
  • Commitment to ethical and compassionate service delivery
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors, families, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Understanding of professional boundaries and willingness to seek support when needed
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between client locations
  • No prior criminal history - Must Pass a level II background clearance before treating clients

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct ABA therapy services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies as written
  • Collect and accurately record client data during therapy sessions
  • Assist in teaching communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills
  • Support behavior reduction and skill acquisition programs in accordance with treatment goals
  • Maintain professional and therapeutic relationships with clients and families
  • Participate in required supervision sessions, team meetings, and training activities
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and within established timelines
  • Adhere to the RBT Ethics Code, BACB requirements, and all organizational policies and procedures
  • Communicate client progress, concerns, and barriers to treatment with supervising clinicians
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect client information in accordance with applicable regulations
