As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you'll make a direct impact on children and families in your community while developing valuable professional skills.
Requirements
- No prior certification required at hire – we provide assistance with RBT training
- Must obtain RBT and CPR certification within 30 days of hire
- Caring, dependable, patient, and adaptable
- Strong communication skills with clients, families, and colleagues
- Empathy and compassion for children with diverse needs
- Ability to stay calm, flexible, and resourceful in challenging situations
- Observational and problem-solving skills to support client progress
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support to children with disabilities or behavioral challenges
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to support academic, behavioral, and emotional growth
- Track and document client progress
- Collaborate with therapy team members and attend ongoing training sessions
- Create a positive, safe, and supportive environment where children can thrive
