About The Position

D & M Behavioral Solutions of Pompano Beach, FL is looking to hire a part-time or full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This role involves partnering with families to carry out ABA treatment plans that build communication, social interaction, and daily living skills. The position offers flexible scheduling with afternoon shifts (2pm-7pm) and some morning school shifts, with caseloads built around availability and neighborhood. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current RBT certification (or completed 40-hour training and the ability to certify within 180 days).
Valid Florida driver license, reliable car, and auto insurance.
A tablet or laptop for session notes.
Ability to pass a Florida Level 2 background screening.
A genuine love for working with kids and families.
Patience, reliability, and strong communication with families and teammates.
Experience with children with autism is a plus, but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.

Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Occasionally lifting or moving up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Teaches communication, social, play, and daily living skills through play-based and naturalistic ABA.
Collects accurate data in real time and completes session notes in ABA Matrix within 24 hours.
Responds to challenging behavior using the strategies in the behavior plan.
Checks in and out of every session at the point of care.
Communicates professionally with caregivers, BCBAs, and the treatment team.
Participates in monthly supervision and ongoing training.
Maintains client confidentiality and follows D & M policies and the RBT Ethics Code.
