This is a temporary Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position established to provide individualized behavioral support to meet the needs of a specific student. The position is temporary; however, there may be an opportunity for full-time employment based on district needs. The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct behavior analytic services for special education students enrolled in educational programs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA); assists with training regarding behavior intervention techniques for paraprofessionals and parents/guardians; and implements plans that conform to IDEA, Connecticut law and regulations, as well as other applicable statutes and regulations.
